Voting in Massachusetts is Easy

In Massachusetts, there are three ways to vote: by mail, early voting from October 19 through November 1 and on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.

  • Print the form
  • Fill in the information required and sign
  • Drop off or mail to your local city or town hall. Click HERE for a list.

IMPORTANT DATES: Any mail-in ballot must be requested in writing by 5 p.m. on the 5th business day before the election. Your application can only be accepted if it has reached your local election office by the deadline. This applies for both vote by mail and absentee voting.

Vote Early: October 19 – November 1

Early voting will begin on October 19 through November 1.  Locations for early voting in your town will be available in mid-October. Dates have not been released by the Secretary of State.

Vote on Election Day: Tuesday, November 5
