Question 4 in on the ballot in Massachusetts, and I’m voting YES. Here’s why.
We’re facing a mental health crisis, and we need more options to help veterans with PTSD, people with end-of-life anxiety, and others who are suffering. Research from Johns Hopkins, Mass General, and many other leading medical institutions demonstrates that natural psychedelic medicines can help people with PTSD, severe depression, and many other conditions. That’s why the FDA has labeled psychedelic medicines a “breakthrough therapy.”
[In 1-3 sentences, provide a personal reason why this issue matters to you]
Question 4 is grounded in public health and safety. It includes commonsense guardrails like health screenings and training requirements for psychedelic facilitators. It’s only for adults, and it would not allow retail sales or storefronts.
Question 4 is about compassion and healing. I urge my fellow Massachusetts voters to join me in voting Yes on Question 4.
